The Textomap plugin lets you generate maps from your WordPress content and embed them anywhere on the page.
Let's get started:
1. After you have installed the plugin, get one of your pages and highlight any text, word, or paragraph that you would like to generate a map from. Once you select a text, the tool box will appear and will show the “Generate a map” button. Click it to generate a map.
2. Once you click the “Generate a map” button, you will be redirected to the Textomap website where you can edit and customise your map further. When your map is ready save and name it.
3. After you saved your map, a pop up will appear. You can choose if you want to embed your map with or without the text. Once you selected click “Copy code”.
4. Return to the Wordpress Tab, an iFrame will now appear there where you can paste the code to embed the map. You can preview how the map looks in the “Map” tab in the frame.
5. Your map is now embedded! You can edit it in the textomap website at any point and it will automatically get updated in your website. You can even do it on mobile!
